Ms Annrita N Ikahu is the Special Projects and Business Development, Director. She has more than 15 years of experience in HIV policy development.

She holds a degree in counselling psychology (BA) from Methodist University and a Master’s degree in health systems management. Annrita has vast experience in new HIV prevention programming approaches development that responds to Kenya’s evolving HIV epidemiological trends. She has offered oversight in developing the self-testing pilot and PrEP service delivery models, including integrated models for MSM in public health facilities.

For the last five years, she has provided leadership in the youth hotline tele-counselling (one2one), a platform that focuses on youth-related issues such as sexual reproductive health, relationship challenges, HIV-positive youth on ART, adherence issues, and sexually transmitted and HIV-related challenges. She has been involved and contributed to policy formulation and review, specifically playing a leadership role in reviewing the National HTC guidelines in Kenya. Additionally, she played a key role in providing oversight for developing the first health helplines guidelines and standards, including SRH-related guidelines. Internationally, she has participated in programs evaluation in; the Botswana MOH VCT program and Cote d’Ivoire’s door-to-door program supported by WHO.

As a Business Development Director, Annrita leads all business development efforts within the organization, including developing and implementing business development strategies and activities. She also spearheads business growth by expanding current businesses and exploring new markets and opportunities.
